Sophronia sagittans
Sophronia sagittans is a small moth in the Gelechiidae family. It was described by Edward Meyrick in 1923 and is found in Palestine.
Wingspan: 13–14 mm. Forewings are ochreous fulvous or ochreous brown with a white streak along the leading edge (costa) from the base to about the middle, then narrowing toward beyond the middle. There is an oblique white striga from the costa at two-thirds, angled toward the tornus, with dark grey speckling along the edge, and a fine black dash before the angle. There are two or sometimes three inward-oblique white marks on the costa toward the back, followed by two black marks near the apex. Hindwings are grey.
