Dingy-Saint-Clair is a small commune in the Haute-Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of southeastern France. It lies about 5 km east of Annecy and borders the Fier river to the southwest.

The commune covers 34.12 square kilometers and sits at elevations from 492 to 1,856 meters (average around 594 m). It has a population of about 1,466 people (2023), giving a population density of roughly 43 inhabitants per square kilometer. The INSEE code is 74102 and the postal code is 74230.
