Highway 613 (Saudi Arabia)
Highway 613, also known as the Dhahran–Jubail Expressway and the Khobar–Dammam–Dhahran Expressway, is a major north–south road in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province. It runs 196 kilometers (122 miles) from Khobar in the south to Ras al-Khair in the north, linking the Dammam metropolitan area with Jubail and Ras al-Khair. The route also serves Qatif and Tarout and runs along the eastern coast near the Persian Gulf, parallel to Highway 95.
The road is a high-capacity, controlled-access expressway. It has eight lanes in total—three lanes in each direction plus an emergency lane on each side—with a median separating the directions. All intersections are grade-separated, and there are few rest areas along the route.
Route description: The highway begins at a roundabout near al-’Aziziyah at the northern tip of Half Moon Bay, where it meets Highway 617. It travels northeast for a short distance, then turns north. It crosses near the King Fahd Causeway and passes the King Abdulaziz Air Base. It links with Highway 610 (access to the air base) and Highway 619 (access to Saudi Aramco and KFUPM). It continues past Saihat and Qatif, with access to Tarout via Road 6384. About 45 km later, it connects with Jubail Expressways 1 and 3, providing access to Jubail and Jubail Industrial City. The road ends at Road 7950, which connects to Highway 95 and Ras al-Khair.
The expressway is important for residents of Dammam and Jubail because it provides a fast link between the Dammam area and the industrial zones in Jubail and Ras al-Khair.
