Herakut is a German street-art duo formed in 2004 by Jasmin Siddiqui (Hera) and Falk Lehmann (Akut). They began painting together in 2002. Siddiqui is of German-Pakistani origin and was born in Frankfurt in 1982. The name Herakut comes from combining Hera and Akut, their nicknames. They are known for graffiti and street art, as well as illustrated books, graphic novels, and social commentary. One of their murals can be seen in Lüneburg, Germany, painted for the ARTotale festival.
