The Black Horse is a historic public house in Preston, Lancashire, England. It sits at 166 Friargate in Preston city centre and is a Grade II listed building. The pub was built in 1898 for the Atlas Brewery Company of Manchester and designed by architect J. A. Seward. It is made of red brick with sandstone dressings and has three floors.

Inside, the Black Horse is known for its preserved historic features. It is included in CAMRA’s National Inventory of Historic Pub Interiors and still has a ceramic bar counter, ceramic fireplaces, wall tiles, a mosaic floor, stained glass, and fixed seating.

Officially named The Black Horse Hotel, it is currently owned by Robinsons Brewery. The building’s coordinates are about 53.7598°N, 2.7011°W. Historic England lists it under entry number 1217882, and it was designated as a listed building on 31 December 1987.
