Kadıköy Anatolian High School
Kadıköy Anatolian High School, also known as Kadıköy Maarif College or Kal, is a public high school located in the Moda neighborhood of Kadıköy, Istanbul. The school offers education in Turkish and English, with German available as a second language. It has both day and boarding options.
History
The building dates back to before World War I and was originally used by the Capuchin Order. After years of talks, the Turkish Ministry of Education opened the school in 1955 as Kadıköy Maarif. The school used to include a two-year English preparation period, but since 2006 it follows the standard four-year lycee program with a one-year prep period.
