Rain in a Dry Land

Rain in a Dry Land is a 2006 American documentary directed by Anne Makepeace. The film, filmed by Joan Churchill and Barney Broomfield, follows two Somali Bantus as relief organizations help them move from Kenyan refugee camps to the United States, first to Atlanta, Georgia, and then to Springfield, Massachusetts. Makepeace also wrote and produced the documentary, which aired on PBS as part of the Point of View series. The movie runs 82 minutes and is in English. It premiered in February 2006.
