Estrone cyanate, also called estrone 3-O-cyanate or estrocyanate, is an estrogen ester derived from estrone. Chemically, it is the 3-O-cyanate ester of estrone. It was investigated as a potential ingredient for birth control pills but proved to be relatively weak and was never marketed. Its molecular formula is C19H21NO2 (molar mass about 295 g/mol).
