Truls Glesne (April 8, 1916 – August 28, 1971) was a Norwegian economist and civil servant. He earned the cand.oecon. degree from the University of Oslo in 1940. During World War II he worked as a secretary in the Ministry of Provisioning (1941–42) and later with the company G. C. Rieber. After the war he held roles in the Norwegian Price Directorate (1945–46), the Ministry of Justice (1946–48), and the Ministry of Trade (1948–52). In 1952 he joined the Ministry of Finance, starting as an assistant secretary and rising to deputy under-secretary of state in 1958, a position he kept until 1970, except for a brief period in 1967 when he was acting permanent under-secretary. He served as deputy under-secretary in the Economics Department (1958–60) and then in the Finance Department (1960–70).
