Thorp Ridges
Thorp Ridges are three closely spaced, nearly parallel ridges in Enderby Land, Antarctica. They sit about 18 nautical miles (33 km) west of Stor Hanakken Mountain. The features were plotted from air photos taken by Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions (ANARE) in 1956. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named them after A. Thorp, an electrical fitter at Wilkes Station in 1961. The location is at coordinates 66°34′S 52°51′E.
