Pare Keiha is a New Zealand Māori academic whose work focuses on Māori development, corporate governance, competition law and intellectual property law. He is of Whānau-a-Taupara / Te Aitanga-a-Māhaki / Rongowhakaata descent and, as of 2019, held senior positions at the Auckland University of Technology (AUT) as a full professor, pro vice-chancellor and dean.

Education and career
Keiha earned his PhD in 1988 from the University of Auckland. His doctoral thesis was titled "Bipolar cells for electrowinning lead from molten lead chloride." He began his academic career at the University of Auckland and later moved to AUT, where he rose to full professor and took on leadership roles.

Goverance and advisory roles
Keiha has been involved in Māori advisory work and intellectual property governance. He is a member of the Trademarks Māori Advisory Committee and is the Chair of the Patents Māori Advisory Committee. He has served on boards and committees including Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga, the Te Whānau-a-Taupara Trust, and has been a past member of the Legal Services Agency Board. He is also associated with AUT’s Māori and indigenous business initiatives.

Honors
In the 2008 New Year Honours, Keiha was made a Companion of the Queen’s Service Order (QSO) for services to business, education and Māori.
