Mosha Pasumansky

Mosha Pasumansky is a leading information technologist and OLAP expert. He helped create the MultiDimensional eXpressions (MDX) language, used for querying OLAP databases, and was one of the architects of Microsoft Analysis Services. He is well known in the OLAP community for his Microsoft OLAP information website and blog, and he wrote the book Fast Track to MDX.

In December 2009, Pasumansky shifted his focus to Bing, stepping away from active BI community work. From May 2011 to July 2021, he worked at Google on the Dremel and BigQuery systems. Since July 2021, he has been the CTO of Firebolt Analytics, a startup in Israel aiming to transform data analytics.
