Port Blandford
Port Blandford is a small coastal town in eastern Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. It sits in Division No. 7 on Clode Sound.
As of the 2021 Census, about 513 people lived in Port Blandford, in 258 of 398 private dwellings. The town covers 51 square kilometers, giving a population density of around 10 people per square kilometer. The nearby community of Muddy Brook is part of Port Blandford.
Historically, the population was 539 in 1940 and grew to 631 by 1956.
The climate is humid continental, typical of Newfoundland: wet and snowy with pronounced seasonal changes. Summers are warm, winters are cold with chilly days and nights, but winter days can be milder than you might expect.
