Pennsylvania Route 257 (PA 257) is a 5.12-mile state highway located in Venango County, Pennsylvania. It runs from south to north, starting at U.S. Route 322 (US 322) in Cranberry Township and ending at U.S. Route 62 (US 62) in Oil City.

Route description
PA 257 begins at US 322 in Cranberry Township and heads north on a three-lane road with a center left-turn lane. The road passes through farmland, woodlands, and areas with residential and commercial development, staying west of Cranberry Mall and near the UPMC Northwest hospital. It continues through the Seneca area and then into more wooded areas with houses. The highway has one northbound lane and two southbound lanes for much of its route before curving northeast to end at US 62 on the Cranberry Township–Oil City border.

History
PA 257 has existed since 1930 and remains in use today. It is maintained by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT).
