Linxe is a small commune in southwestern France. It is located in the Landes department, within the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. The area covers about 80.9 square kilometers, and the population was 1,552 in 2023. The town sits at an elevation of roughly 14 to 71 meters above sea level. Linxe is part of the Côte Landes Nature intercommunality, a group of nearby communes working together on shared services. The mayor for 2020–2026 is Thierry Gallea. The INSEE code is 40155 and the postal code is 40260. In Gascon, the town is called Linça. Linxe lies at about 43.9217°N, 1.2456°W in the south-west of France.
