Notre-Dame-de-Vaulx is a small commune in southeastern France, in the Isère department of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. It lies in the Grenoble arrondissement and the Matheysine-Trièves canton and is part of the La Matheysine intercommunality. The town covers about 8 square kilometers and sits at elevations between 877 and 1,712 meters. About 512 people lived there in 2023. The postal codes are 38144 and 38280, and the INSEE code is 38280. The coordinates are 44.9872°N, 5.7497°E. The mayor for 2022–2026 is Bernadette Garcia. The town’s name was Notre-Dame-de-Vaux until 2001, when it was changed to Notre-Dame-de-Vaulx by a decree.
