Albert Gallatin Egbert (April 13, 1828 – March 28, 1896) was an American doctor and a Democratic politician from Pennsylvania. He was born near Sandy Lake, Pennsylvania. He attended public schools and Grand River Academy in Austinburg, Ohio. He earned his medical degree from the Western Reserve University in Cleveland in 1856 and began practicing medicine in Clintonville, Pennsylvania. He later moved to Cherrytree, Pennsylvania, where he continued his medical work until 1861, when he retired from medicine to focus on oil production and farming. During the American Civil War, he served as a volunteer surgeon.

Egbert was elected as a Democrat to the Forty-fourth Congress and served as a U.S. Representative from Pennsylvania from March 4, 1875, to March 3, 1877. He chaired the United States House Committee on Mileage during this term. He declined to seek reelection in 1876 and returned to his business pursuits after leaving Congress. He died in Franklin, Pennsylvania, in 1896 and was buried in Franklin Cemetery.
