Janq'u Llaqa

Janq'u Llaqa is a mountain in the Andes of Peru. It rises about 5,200 meters (17,100 feet) high and is located in the Moquegua Region, Mariscal Nieto Province, Carumas District. The name comes from the Aymara language, where janq'u means white and llaqa means feather, so “white feather” (the Hispanicized spelling is Ancollaca). It lies southwest of Jach'a K'uchu and north of Kuntur Nasa. Its coordinates are 16°43′00″S, 70°02′19″W.
