Medina Group, also known as the Cataract Group, is a geologic group in New York State, United States. It dates back to the Silurian period and includes several rock units:

- Whirlpool Sandstone
- Power Glen Shale
- Devils Hole Sandstone
- Grimsby Formation
- Thorold Sandstone
- Cambria Shale
- Kodak Sandstone

The Medina Group outcrops in Upstate New York and is categorized as a geologic group. A key reference is the US Geological Survey Bulletin 2086 (1995), which revised the stratigraphy and correlations of the Niagaran provincial series (Medina, Clinton, and Lockport groups) in western New York.
