Paco de Lucena, born Francisco Díaz Fernández (1859–1898) in Lucena, Córdoba, was a Spanish guitarist and one of the most influential flamenco players of the late 19th century. He helped shape both flamenco and classical guitar, and his influence grew as other guitarists emerged in the early 20th century when interest in the instrument revived.

He died in Lucena in 1898. When the famous guitarist Andrés Segovia began his career, he was five years old at the time of Lucena’s death; Segovia’s first guitar, later on, was a guitar that had belonged to Lucena.

In 2009, to mark the 150th anniversary of Lucena’s birth, a flamenco concert was held at Lucena Castle.
