The Jicarilla Mountains, also known as the Sacramento Mountains, are a group of mountains in Lincoln County, New Mexico, in the southwestern United States. They stretch toward the Guadalupe Mountains to the south. The range was named after the Jicarilla Apache Nation, and nearby the Sacramento Mountains lie to the southwest.

Highest point: Ancho Peak, about 2,385 meters (7,825 feet) tall. The mountains sit around 33.85°N, 105.66°W.

Geography: Located in Lincoln County, New Mexico.

History: Gold seekers began arriving around 1850. The area became a productive placer mining district, with rich quartz lodes and gold fields. A gold strike was reported on May 26, 1877. The towns of Jicarilla and White Oaks grew and were abandoned in the early 1900s when mining declined.
