Cacique (rum)

Cacique is a Venezuelan rum brand that first hit the market in 1959. The name comes from the Taíno word cacique, meaning “chief of the tribe.” It is available in several varieties, from the lighter Cacique Origen to the richer Cacique 500 and the premium Cacique Antiguo. In January 2025, La Martiniquaise acquired the Cacique product line.
