Youth Action Network (YAN) was a UK-wide youth organisation that encouraged young people to volunteer in their communities. It started in 1989 under the name World Affairs Canada to support Youth Action Agencies across the country, and it changed its name to Youth Action Network in 1995. The group was supported by the National Youth Agency, but this support ended when Millennium Volunteers began in 1999.

One of YAN’s major achievements was creating a quality‑assurance model for its member organisations based on PQASSO. On 9 March 2012, YAN merged into NCVYS (the National Council for Voluntary Youth Services).

YAN had around 100 member organisations, including founder members such as Aylesbury Youth Action and Youth Action Cambridge, along with Solent Youth Action and The Ivy Project. Members paid an annual fee to stay part of the network.
