Amy-Joyce Hastings is an Irish actress born on 24 September 1980 in Dublin. She has built a career across film, television and theatre.

Early life
Hastings grew up in Ireland and showed an early love of acting. She trained at the Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin and later studied at Trinity College Dublin, where she completed an acting degree with distinction in 2001. As a child she appeared in Fools of Fortune (1990), which helped launch her career. As a teenager, she appeared on RTÉ youth programs and even reviewed children’s films for radio. She was shortlisted for Felicia’s Journey in 1998 but chose to continue her training at Trinity before pursuing acting full-time.
