West Green station

West Green station is a stop on Cleveland’s Green Line of the RTA Rapid Transit, located in Shaker Heights, Ohio. It sits at the western end of the parking lot shared with Green Road station, about 140 meters west of Green Road’s platforms. The station is designed for riders who park in the western part of the lot.

History
- Opened on November 1, 1936, when the rapid transit line extended one mile east from Warrensville Center Road to Green Road.
- The extension was originally single-track; a second track was added in 1942 due to higher ridership during World War II.
- In 1980–1981, the Green and Blue Lines were renovated with new track, ballast, poles, wiring, and new stations. The renovated line along Shaker Boulevard opened on October 11, 1980.

Station layout
- The station has two side platforms with small shelters on the westbound platform.
- There is no entrance to the station except through the shared parking area with Green Road station.
