University of Riau (UNRI) is a public university in Pekanbaru, Riau, Indonesia. It was established on 1 September 1962. The rector is Dr. Hj. Sri Indarti, S.E., M.Si. The motto is Unggul dan Responsif (Superior and Responsive). UNRI’s colors are green, yellow, and white, and its nickname is UNRI. It is affiliated with ASAIHL.

UNRI has nine faculties: Social and Political Sciences; Education and Teacher Training; Agriculture; Engineering; Economics and Business; Mathematics and Natural Sciences; Fisheries and Marine; Medicine; and Law. The official website is www.unri.ac.id.
