The Cesarians are a London-based art rock band known for their experimental sound. They formed in 2007 in Stoke Newington, London, and feature singer Charlie Finke, pianist Justine Armatage, drummer Jan Noble, and a wind section made up of women.

Their debut album, Cesarians 1, was released in 2009. It was recorded at Abbey Road Studios and produced by Craig Leon. The band began by opening for The Last Drive at the Indie Rocket Festival in Pescara, Italy in 2007 and has since toured Europe, performing in places like Berlin’s Admiralspalast and at the Donaufestival in Austria.

In 2010 they supported Adam Ant at his Scala comeback show and later played with artist Martin Creed at the ICA in London. They also appeared at the Soy Festival in Nantes. In December 2010 they added bassist Budge Magraw to the lineup.
