Ted Johnson (rower)
Ted Johnson, born George Edward Johnson on May 1, 1924 in Rotorua, New Zealand, was a New Zealand representative rower. He won a gold medal at the 1950 British Empire Games in Auckland as part of the men's coxed four. He later competed in the 1952 Summer Olympics in the coxed four, but the crew did not reach the final. Johnson passed away on July 19, 1985 in Whanganui, New Zealand.
