Szuć is a small village in northern Poland, located in Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, within Szczytno County and the Gmina Jedwabno. It lies about 18 km west of Szczytno and 35 km southeast of Olsztyn, at an elevation of around 132 meters. The population was 244 people in 2007. In the Middle Ages, the area had a settlement of Yotvingians, and the name Szuć comes from the Old Prussian word Suckans, meaning “fish.”
