Marco Banchini
Marco Banchini (born 23 September 1980 in Vigevano, Italy) is an Italian football manager who is currently the head coach of Pro Vercelli in Serie C. His coaching career has taken him to clubs in Italy and abroad, including Vigevano, Amicale, Como, Vis Pesaro, Montevarchi, Alessandria, and Pro Vercelli.
Banchini began his managerial career with Vigevano, later coaching Amicale. In 2018 he was appointed head coach of Como in Serie C, but he was sacked on 1 December 2020 after a match against Piacenza.
On 24 May 2021 he became the manager of Vis Pesaro. On 6 December 2022 he took over Montevarchi but was dismissed on 3 April 2023. On 4 October 2023 he joined Alessandria. He was dismissed on 21 November 2023 after a change of ownership, then rehired on 28 December 2023, and again dismissed on 17 March 2024 with Alessandria sitting bottom in the table.
Most recently, on 28 November 2024, Banchini was appointed head coach of Pro Vercelli.
