IFP School is a graduate engineering school in Rueil-Malmaison, France, near Paris. It’s also known as ENSPM and is part of IFP Energies Nouvelles (IFPEN), a public energy research and training center. The school was founded in 1954.

What it does
- Trains engineers and energy professionals. About 600–650 students graduate each year across 20 programs, with 10 programs taught in English.
- Employs around 40 professors and 350 industry instructors.
- Offers strong links to industry and research, including master’s and doctoral (PhD) opportunities.

Where it is and campus life
- Located on the IFPEN site in Rueil-Malmaison. The campus has an administration building, classrooms and labs, a library, a cafeteria, and a dormitory with 132 apartments.
- Runs off-site degree programs in Algeria, Nigeria, Malaysia, Russia, and Venezuela through partnerships with local universities and sponsors.
- Student life includes language courses, a Business Skills Center, and various cultural and athletic clubs. It’s about a 30-minute ride from central Paris by train (RER A).

- Center for IC Engines and Hydrocarbon Utilizations
- Center for Refining, Petrochemicals, and Gas
- Management is a separate department.
- Focuses on graduate training for engineers and industry professionals. Research masters and PhD theses are conducted in oil, gas, new energy technologies, and engines.
- About 50% of students come from outside France. Approximately 80% receive scholarships or industry sponsorship. Employment after graduation is very high (around 99%).
