Swimming Pool (2001 film)

Overview
Swimming Pool is a 2001 English-language German slasher film directed by Boris von Sychowski. Also known as Swimming Pool – Der Tod feiert mit in Germany and The Pool in the US and UK, it stars Kristen Miller, Elena Uhlig, Thorsten Grasshoff, John Hopkins, Isla Fisher, James McAvoy and others. The story follows a group of international students at an elite Prague school who break into an indoor water park for a party and are stalked by a masked killer.

Plot (short)
Catherine discovers her boyfriend dead at home, then a group of international students in Prague plan to celebrate by breaking into an indoor water park. After Kim is killed, the students enter the water park, where they are hunted by a masked killer. Exits are locked, and they try to escape through air ducts while the killer stalks them through the building. As the group is picked off one by one, suspense and violence escalate. In the end, the killer is revealed to be Frank. Sarah and Carmen confront him, douse him with vodka and set him on fire; he falls into the pool and is killed by Carmen. Greg survives the ordeal, and Carmen, though injured, also survives.
