Plot in simple terms: The documentary compares Mullaperiyar Dam to China’s Banqiao Dam, which held about 492 million cubic meters of water and collapsed in 1975, killing around 250,000 people. Mullaperiyar holds about 443 million cubic meters. The film suggests that a disaster at Mullaperiyar could be possible and discusses safety concerns and the need for precautions.
Awards: In 2011, the film won several honors, including Best Editing and Best Visual Effects at the Los Angeles Movie Awards, and Best Documentary Short at the Los Angeles Cinema Festival of Hollywood.
