Cacadou Look

Cacadou Look was a five-member pop-rock band from Opatija, Croatia (then part of Yugoslavia). They formed in 1983 and were active until 1991. They were the first Yugoslav all-female band to release a long-playing record, and they gained mainstream popularity through radio and TV appearances.

Music and albums
- Style: power pop.
- Debut album: Tko mari za čari (Jugoton, 1987). It was produced by Husein Hasanefendić and Tomo in der Mühlen, with Vlada Divljan contributing. The album included hits like Sama, Kao pjesma, and Tako lako. Most songs were written by the band. It also featured a cover of Buddy Holly’s It’s So Easy and the song Ne dozvoli.
- Second album: Uspavanka za Zoroa (Jugoton, 1989). Hits included Baum bam bam, Budi mi prijatelj, and Krenite s nama. The song Let’s Stick Together was Bryan Ferry’s cover. An English version of Budi mi prijatelj, titled Be My Friend, appeared on Yu-Go Pop (Jugoton, 1990).

Live moments and end
- Cacadou Look played their last show in Zagreb on 25 May 1991. After disbanding, the members did not pursue solo careers and left the music scene.
