Aimee Chan
Aimee Chan Yan-mei (born 1981) is a Canadian-born actress who works in Hong Kong. She was born in Toronto, Ontario, to parents from Hong Kong and began modeling at age 16.
She returned to Hong Kong to compete in Miss Hong Kong in 2006. Chan won the Miss Hong Kong title, was the audience favourite, and also received the Miss International Goodwill award.
Chan then pursued acting with TVB, appearing in many Hong Kong television dramas since 2006. She earned several TVB Anniversary Award nominations and won Most Improved Actress in 2009 for her roles in Off Pedder, E.U., and Burning Flame III.
In her personal life, Chan married Moses Chan in June 2013. The couple has three children: Aiden Joshua Chan (born December 4, 2013), Nathan Lucas Chan (born February 26, 2015), and Camilla Chan (born April 27, 2016). She studied at OCAD University in Toronto.
Chan has acted in films as well, including 72 Tenants of Prosperity (2010), Let’s Eat! (2016), and When Sun Meets Moon (2018). In Chinese, she is known as Chan Yan-mei (陳茵媺).
