Wilds Hall
Wilds Hall is a historic house in Springville, Darlington County, South Carolina. Also known as the Peter A. Wilds House and Wilson House, it was built about 1839 and enlarged around 1850. The two-story, rectangular home is covered with weatherboard siding and has a gabled roof. It sits on a low stuccoed brick foundation, and the property includes four outbuildings on about 5.7 acres.
Peter Wilds, a wealthy planter who owned 111 slaves in 1860, lived in the house for four generations over roughly 130 years. Wilds Hall was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.
