Robert Macleod (Australian politician)
Robert Macleod is a former mayor of the City of Palmerston in the Northern Territory, Australia. He served from May 2007 until his resignation in February 2012. He became mayor after the previous mayor, Annette Burke, retired. Macleod resigned after being prosecuted and serving jail time for assaulting his neighbours with a golf club. He was succeeded by alderman Graeme Chin.
