Conus platensis is an extinct species of sea snail in the cone snail family, Conidae. It is known from fossil shells found near Platense de Punta Carreta in Montevideo, Uruguay. The shell reaches about 23 millimeters in length. The species was described in 1946 by J. Frenguelli. Its binomial name is Conus platensis, and a synonym is Conus (Leptoconus) platensis. It is listed as extinct on the IUCN Red List (IUCN 3.1). References include Frenguelli (1946) and the World Register of Marine Species.
