Charles Kiva Krieger (April 5, 1914 – June 17, 1982) was an interim mayor of Jersey City, New Jersey. He served as mayor for about three months in 1971, from August 5 to November 8, succeeding Thomas J. Whelan and before Paul T. Jordan. Krieger was born in Vienna, Austria, and fled Nazi persecution to the United States, eventually settling in Jersey City. He was a Democrat during his time as mayor but switched to the Republican Party in April 1981. In June 1982, Krieger had just won the Republican nomination for the U.S. House of Representatives, but he died in Jersey City at age 68.
