Caryocolum saginella
Caryocolum saginella is a small moth from the Gelechiidae family. It can be found in France, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Croatia, Slovenia, North Macedonia, and Greece. The forewings are about 4.5–5 mm long in males and 4–5 mm in females. Adults fly from early June to late July. The larvae feed on Silene saxifraga and Silene linoides. Its binomial name is Caryocolum saginella, described by Zeller in 1868. It has several synonyms, including Gelechia saginella, Lita saginella, Phthorimaea saginella, Caryocolum saginellum, Lita coussonella, and Phthorimaea coussonella.
