Plot
After a teen brawl to defend his friend Zach, Jianhao is sent to a Boys’ Home for six months. He wants to start fresh and tries to retake his O-levels with help from his girlfriend Shan Shan. His mother Huifang asks him to help at her Bugis Street stall. He ends up joining a triad gang, Yi Ren Tang, led by Zhihua, to gain protection from a rival gang, Gang 660 led by Guodong. In a clash between gangs, Zach and Jianhao are involved; Zach uses a brick on Alex, who ends up in a vegetative state and dies. Guodong seeks revenge. The boys go on the run, and Huifang reveals that Jianhao is Zhihua’s biological son. Zhihua tries to send Jianhao overseas to escape, but Guodong catches them. In the final fight Zhihua is killed, and Guodong, Zach, and Jianhao are arrested. Jianhao is released earlier than Zach and, with his family’s support, vows to turn his life around.
