Bear Rocks, Pennsylvania is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Bullskin Township, Fayette County, Pennsylvania, United States. It sits on the south side of Pennsylvania Route 31 in northern Fayette County, on the western slope of Chestnut Ridge.

Geography: The area covers about 3.24 square miles (8.39 square kilometers). Its elevation ranges from about 1,150 feet (350 meters) above sea level in Jacobs Creek valley to around 2,196 feet (669 meters) near the southeastern edge of Bear Rocks.

Demographics: The population was 1,048 at the 2010 census and 1,005 at the 2020 census, roughly around 1,000 residents.

History: In 1977, Bear Rocks was the site of a controversial murder case. David Munchinski was convicted and spent 26 years in prison before being found to be wrongly convicted and released.
