Aurora Sevilla

Aurora Elvira Gayoso Sevilla (born October 26, 1963) is a Filipino former actress and beauty queen. She won Mutya ng Pilipinas World 1984 and represented the Philippines at Miss World 1984 in London. She was also named Ms. Press Photography the year before.

Career
Aurora first gained public attention in 1984 after winning Mutya ng Pilipinas. She began acting in films, starting with Okleng Tokleng (1986), and joined TV work on Agila (1987–1992). She acted in many action films opposite famous stars of the era, such as Dante Varona, Bong Revilla, Ronnie Ricketts, Jestoni Alarcon, and Robin Padilla. In the 1990s she continued as a leading actress in various action movies. In 2009 she appeared in Kung Aagawin Mo Ang Lahat Sa Akin on GMA Network. In 2019 she joined The Killer Bride on ABS-CBN. She also appeared in Maalaala Mo Kaya episodes in 2021 and 2022, and in Nagalit ang Patay sa Haba ng Lamay: Da Resbak (2023).

Personal life
Her father, Col. Arturo Sevilla of the Philippine Air Force, died when she was in grade three. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from Saint Paul College. She has pursued business ventures and is a single parent to Joshua and Ali. In December 2009, she was arrested for selling a small amount of shabu.
