Atsicholos
Atsicholos is a small mountain village in Arcadia, in the Peloponnese region of Greece. It sits on a hillside above the Lousios River near where it joins the Alfeios and is part of the Gortyna municipal unit in the Megalopoli municipality.
The village is considered a traditional settlement and has Byzantine-era remains, including the Church of St. Athanasios. Nearby sights include a laurel forest and the monastery of Panagia Kalamiou.
Population has declined over the years: 1981 — 80 people; 1991 — 61; 2001 — 63; 2011 — 45; 2021 — 28.
