Ahmad Faiz
Ahmad Faiz Mohamad Noor (born 12 February 1988) is a Malaysian cricketer who plays for the Malaysia national cricket team. He is a right-handed batsman and has played in many international competitions for Malaysia.
He represented Malaysia at the 2008 Under-19 Cricket World Cup and later took part in the 2014 ICC World Cricket League Division Three.
In the Southeast Asian Games, Ahmad Faiz helped Malaysia win the gold medal in the men’s 50-over cricket event at the 2017 Games, beating Singapore by 251 runs in the final.
He has captained Malaysia in major events, including the 2018 Asia Cup Qualifier and the 2018–19 ICC World Twenty20 Asia Qualifier Regional Finals.
In 2019, he made his Twenty20 International (T20I) debut for Malaysia on 24 June against Thailand during the Malaysia Tri-Nation Series. He also made his List A debut on 16 September 2019 against Denmark in the Malaysia Cricket World Cup Challenge League A, and later captained Malaysia in the Regional Finals of the T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier.
During the 2018 ICC World Cricket League Division Four, he was Malaysia’s leading run-scorer with 298 runs in six matches.
As of 2023, he remained a key player for Malaysia, with his last recorded T20I appearance on 31 October 2023 against Nepal.
