Acantholomidea is a genus of shield-backed bugs in the family Scutelleridae. These insects are true bugs (order Hemiptera). There are at least two described species in this genus: Acantholomidea denticulata and Acantholom idea porosa. The genus was described by Sailer in 1945 and is placed in the subfamily Pachycorinae.
