Rubus roribaccus
Rubus roribaccus is a North American dewberry in the rose family. It is commonly known as the Lucretia dewberry or velvet-leaf dewberry. This plant grows in eastern Canada (Québec) and across the eastern and central United States, from New York and Massachusetts south to the Carolinas, and west to Oklahoma, Kansas, and Nebraska. The binomial name is Rubus roribaccus (L.H. Bailey) Rydb.
Rubus roribaccus has many historical synonyms, including Rubus canadensis var. roribaccus; Rubus flagellaris var. roribaccus; Rubus procumbens var. roribaccus; Rubus villosus var. roribaccus; Rubus occidualis; Rubus pauperrimus; Rubus temerarius; and others.
