Guardian Angel (album)

Guardian Angel is the sixteenth rock album by the British group The Shadows, released in November 1984 on Polydor. It was their first album issued on both LP and CD at the same time and is notable for containing mostly original material for a Shadows release. The album did not perform well commercially, reaching only number 98 on the UK charts. The single from the album, "On A Night Like This," received little promotion from Polydor.

Two tracks from Guardian Angel—“How Do I Love Thee” and “Hammerhead”—were added to The Shadows’ live set during the January–March 1985 Down Under tour in Australia and New Zealand.

In December 1998, the album was reissued on CD by See for Miles Records, adding eight bonus tracks, two of which had never before appeared on CD.
