Go Yokoyama
Go Yokoyama is the ring name of Tsuyoshi Yokoyama, a Japanese kickboxer born on June 29, 1983, in Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan. He fights in the welterweight division and is known for his unorthodox kicks. Yokoyama has a Seidokaikan karate background, and his nickname is Karate Prodigy. He stands 5 ft 10 in (1.78 m) tall and weighs about 154 lb (70 kg). He fights for the Crazy Wolf team and has been active since 2008.
He began practicing karate at age 13. His brother Shingo Yokoyama is also a kickboxer. In 2003, he won the 5th All Japan Seidokaikan Lightweight Championship.
Go Yokoyama made his pro kickboxing debut on August 16, 2008, defeating Marcelo Nascimento by decision. He later competed in K-1, where he was knocked out by Jae Gil Noh at the K-1 World MAX 2009 World Championship Tournament Final 8. He then went on an eight-fight unbeaten run (7 wins, 1 draw). In 2011, he returned to K-1 for the World MAX 2011 -70kg Japan Tournament Final, winning by unanimous decision against Yoshi.
