Field hockey at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics took place in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from October 7 to October 14. The games were played in the Hockey5s format (five-a-side) on a smaller field at Parque Polideportivo Roca.
Format and participants
- Each gender (boys and girls) had 12 teams in the tournament.
- Argentina qualified automatically as the host for both boys and girls.
